Why I chose my major

I chose HDFS because of the diversity and opportunity within the major. The classes in the college of FACS help students better understand how to help others, build meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact in their communities. HDFS helps us to learn more about people and how they grow and develop throughout different stages of life which I find valuable as a pre nursing student. 

What I like most about FACS

I like the community that FACS has within it. No matter what age, major, or career interest you have, there is always a community in FACS that is cheering you on and believes in you. The relationship between students, professors and advisors in FACS is rare and gives you a sense of the belonging the second you step foot in Dawson Hall.
