Why I chose my major

I chose Social Entrepreneurship because of its flexibility and endless career opportunities. Regardless of what field I end up in, I'll be set up for success with a solid skill set for communications, social impact and business modeling. My coursework focuses on entrepreneurship for the betterment of society, something I hope to utilize in event and program coordination one day.  

What I like most about FACS

I've loved the FACS community since the beginning of my time here at UGA when I added my minor in HDFS! There is always a friendly face in Dawson Hall, and I never fail to feel supported by the faculty and staff. Not only that, but our wonderful professors also consistently encourage critical and creative thinking, which will provide me with a skill set applicable to any field I might one day find myself in.
