- Why I chose my major
I chose my major because I have an immense passion for food. I grew up in a family of great cooks and always knew that being in the kitchen was my happy place. I also played soccer growing up and in college, so I have always enjoyed fueling my body properly and staying active. One day it just clicked for me that I could combine my huge passion for food with my desire to live a healthy lifestyle. I cannot wait to share with others how you can still have a passion for food, like me, but also live a healthy and fulfilling life!
- What I like most about FACS
FACS has been nothing short of wonderful to me. As a transfer student, I was nervous about the transition, but I was able to get acclimated to UGA with ease. I give full credit to all of the extraordinary people in this college. From my advisors who guided me to my professors who inspired me to everyone I met along the way, I am grateful to have been a part of this experience that I will remember forever!
- Post-graduation plans
After I graduate, I plan to pursue my dietetic internship with Sodexo and then become a Registered Dietitian!
